Terms of Service
These short terms apply when you use jigevents.co.uk or ask JIG Events, trading as JIG Concierge Services ("JIG", "we", "us"), to arrange something for you. By enquiring or booking, you agree to them.
What we do
JIG is a concierge service. We arrange chauffeur travel, shortlet stays, club access and tables, restaurant reservations, event tickets and bespoke requests, often through trusted third-party providers such as chauffeurs, accommodation hosts and venues. Those providers may have their own terms, house rules and policies, which we will tell you about where we can.
Enquiries are not bookings
Sending an enquiry, speaking to the Ask JIG assistant, or booking a call does not create a booking. The assistant can capture your request but cannot check live availability, quote firm prices or confirm anything. A booking exists only when a member of the JIG team confirms it to you in writing, by email, message or invoice.
Prices, deposits and payment
Prices are quoted for each request and depend on date, party size and the services involved. Where a deposit or full payment is needed, we will send you a payment request or invoice after confirming the booking. Please only pay through a link or invoice sent to you directly by JIG. Payments are never taken on this website.
Changes and cancellations
Cancellation, change and refund terms depend on the booking and the provider involved, and we will confirm them to you in writing at the time we confirm your booking. Please tell us as early as you can if your plans change so we can try to adjust arrangements.
Guests and conduct
- Our services and venue access are for adults aged 18 and over, and venues may ask for valid photo ID.
- You are responsible for the behaviour of your party. Venues and providers may refuse entry or service, and you may be charged for damage or additional costs caused by your party.
- Please give us accurate details, including party size and any special requirements.
Our responsibility
We take care to arrange what we confirm and to choose reliable providers. We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, or for the acts or omissions of independent third-party providers, except where the law says we must be. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Our aggregate liability to you for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.
Website and AI assistant
Information on this website is general and may change. The Ask JIG assistant is an AI and can make mistakes, so please check anything important with the team. Please do not rely on it for emergencies. By using it you agree to your conversation being recorded and processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Jobs
Vacancies listed on this site, including waiting staff roles, are invitations to apply and not offers of work. Pay and hours are confirmed in writing before any shift.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you keep any rights to use your local courts.
